They are responsible for the overall feel of the product, ensuring it is intuitive, accessible, and enjoyable to use. UX Designers conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to align the product with user needs. Their goal is to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty by enhancing the usability and accessibility of a product.

About Mother

MOTHER is dedicated to transforming how people experience and interact with digital platforms. Our goal is to build immersive, engaging, and intuitive products that shape the way billions of people engage with the digital world by creating transformative experiences through game play.

We’re looking for a talented UX Designer who thrives in solving complex design challenges and crafting seamless user experiences that inspire spark imagination and possibility. If you have a strong foundation in UX problem-solving, systems thinking, and creative experimentation, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer who is passionate about creating immersive and intuitive experiences with a focus on measurable impact. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Game Designers, Developers, and Artists, to deliver visually engaging and player‑friendly interfaces. Our environment is fast‑paced, and you’ll be actively engaged in daily stand‑ups, contributing to every stage of development.

This role is ideal for someone who is outcome‑driven—a designer who not only crafts exceptional user experiences but also evaluates their success through product benchmarks and UX metrics. You’ll play a key role in defining what success looks like for design solutions, ensuring that UX improvements drive measurable engagement, usability, and retention.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-End UX Design: Lead the design process from research and ideation to wireframing, prototyping, testing, and implementation.
  • Creative UX Experimentation: Explore innovative UX solutions, leveraging new design methodologies to enhance engagement and player experience.
  • Design System Contribution: Help evolve and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility across platforms.
  • Outcome‑Oriented UX Execution: Use product benchmarks, analytics, and UX metrics to measure the success of design choices and iterate accordingly.
  • End-to-End User Flow Prototyping: Design and prototype comprehensive user flows, ensuring seamless player interactions across all touchpoints.
  • Figma Expertise & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups using Figma, with the ability to iterate quickly based on feedback.
  • Prototyping Animations & Interactive Designs: Design and prototype UI animations, transitions, and interactive elements to enhance engagement and usability.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with Game Designers, Developers, and Artists to ensure seamless and engaging player experiences.
  • User Research & Testing: Conduct usability testing and leverage data‑driven insights to refine and optimize UI/UX designs.
  • Performance Evaluation: Track UX performance over time using KPI metrics such as player engagement, retention, and conversion rates.
  • Ensuring UI Consistency: Maintain consistency across different game screens and features while aligning with broader product strategy.
  • Sprint Planning & Iteration: Engage actively in daily stand‑ups and iterative feedback cycles, ensuring UX solutions are adaptable and evolving.
  • Implementation of UI Animations & Visual Effects: Enhance interactivity and engagement with UI animations, transitions, and motion design.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer in gaming, interactive media, or related fields.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing game UX/UI designs and interactive experiences with a clear emphasis on outcome‑driven design.
  • Excellent UX problem‑solving skills, with a deep understanding of user‑centered design principles.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Experience in designing with metrics in mind, using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or A/B testing platforms to validate UX decisions.
  • Ability to prototype animations & interactive designs for enhanced user engagement.
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to create scalable, repeatable design solutions.
  • Good visual design skills, with an understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Self‑managing, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the gaming industry or designing for interactive entertainment.
  • Knowledge of UI animation principles and experience implementing motion design for interaction feedback.
  • Familiarity with front‑end development principles and constraints.
  • Ability to present and articulate design decisions effectively to stakeholders, using both qualitative and quantitative insights.
