To thrive as a User Experience Designer Intern, you need a solid understanding of design principles, user research, wireframing, and prototyping, often supported by coursework or a portfolio of relevant projects. Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is typically expected. Curiosity, strong communication, and openness to feedback are crucial soft skills that help interns collaborate effectively and learn quickly.
