Job description

UX Researcher – SaaS Products
Responsibilities
  • Design and execute end-to-end mixed-methods research across the product development lifecycle, from foundational exploration and concept testing to usability and competitive evaluation.
  • Lead strategic and tactical studies, selecting the right qualitative and quantitative methods for the question, timeline, and decision at hand.
  • Own evaluative research that measures product performance, identifies usability issues, benchmarks experiences, and helps teams prioritize improvements.
  • Use quantitative analysis to strengthen findings, including surveys, usability scores, task success rates, frequency and severity analysis, and competitive scorecards.
  • Turn research into clear recommendations and communicate them effectively to senior product, design, and data science stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
  • 7+ years of hands-on UX research experience, ideally more, with foundational research and usability research as a core strength.
  • Strong mixed-methods expertise, including interviews, usability testing, light-weight surveys and analysis.
  • Quantitative research fundamentals, with the ability to independently analyze common evaluative metrics and survey data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity and clearly connect evidence to product decisions.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and speed, with a pragmatic approach to navigating unclear problems and unnecessary process.
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience researching Enterprise, API, or SaaS products
Compensation: $100 - $175 per hour
