Job description

Momento USA is a global technology consulting, talent acquisition, and creative development firm that addresses clients' most pressing needs and challenges. We are currently looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer.

Role: Lead DevOps Engineer

Location : Rocklin, CA (4 days Onsite) (Need local)

Duration: Long Term

MOI: Video and F2F

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms and underlying Linux infrastructure, including cluster provisioning, upgrades, node lifecycle, networking, storage, and configuration.
  • Automate infrastructure and platform operations using Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, and scripting, reducing manual L1/L2 support effort and enabling self-service capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, Helm charts, and reusable platform templates using Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices, including automated security scanning, vulnerability management, security gates, and automated remediation workflows within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage container platforms and standards, including Docker/container images, registries, base images, resource management, and platform security.
  • Implement platform monitoring, observability, and reliability practices using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
  • Troubleshoot complex Kubernetes/OpenShift, Linux, networking, storage, and infrastructure issues, including platform-level performance and availability problems.
  • Partner with application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver platform capabilities, establish standards, improve reliability, and continuously reduce operational toil.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
  • Experience supporting enterprise container platforms in production environments.
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent infrastructure automation tools.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with GitOps and tools such as Argo CD is highly desirable.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and integrating security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong scripting/programming skills using Python, Shell, or equivalent.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.
  • Red Hat OpenShift certifications or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience with Ansible Automation Platform or Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Trivy, Snyk, Aqua, SonarQube, Clair, Anchore, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, IBM MQ, or other enterprise middleware platforms.
  • Experience with Vault, Consul, CDN/edge technologies, or enterprise infrastructure services.
  • Experience migrating workloads from VM-based infrastructure to container platforms.

Experience in large-scale enterprise or retail/e-commerce environments
