Job description

EEC Solutions is looking for a Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental and Multinational (JIIM) Instructor / SME to support a possible upcoming contract at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), NJ.

Note: We are seeking resumes for a proposal opportunity. This position is contingent upon contract award. Candidates currently living in a HubZone designated area are encouraged to apply. Only the candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will be considered.

Position Description:

Serves as the primary SME and instructor for JIIM topics within the Air Advisor Academic curriculum. Provides instruction on the interrelationships of organizations operating in the international environment, including joint and coalition military, NGOs, IGOs, international organizations, and US Embassy country teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide instruction and evaluations on interrelationships of organizations operating internationally, including joint/coalition military, NGOs, IGOs, International Organizations, US Embassy staffs, and Country Teams.
  • Teach subjects including, but not limited to: International Organizations, Interagency Functions, Building Strategic Networks, Partner Nation Security Institutions, Partner Nation Government Structures, Legal Awareness, and Organizational Awareness.
  • Liaison with Air Force Geographic Component Commands, HAF, MAJCOMs, CNAFs, other services, and interagency/intergovernmental/NGO organizations to maintain curriculum relevancy.
  • Develop, update, revise, and deliver curriculum and courseware IAW USAF EOS policy.
  • Complete USAF EOS instructional methods course; maintain 180 hours of instruction within first year; maintain satisfactory or above on Government evaluations.
  • Serve as SME focal point in JIIM discipline; assist in other areas as directed by Site Manager.
  • Prepare classroom; begin lessons on time; conduct evaluations per syllabi.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Deployed as a Military Advisor, PAS Officer, RAS Officer, FAO, PRT member, attachรฉ, or Security Cooperation Officer (or equivalent advisory role); Joint experience, interagency experience, or experience working with coalition partners or NGOs; experience or demonstrated knowledge in military, interagency, or civilian aviation industry.
  • Completion of Air Command and Staff College, Senior NCO Academy, or sister service school equivalent (inresidence or by correspondence).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; CAC required within two weeks of start date.
  • Verification of JIIM/advisory deployment background and joint or interagency experience required.
