Job Overview

This position reports to the manager of Card Services. This role is responsible for providing support to members and team members with debit card and credit card services, including ordering replacement cards and rush cards, and placing travel notes or making and checking disputes. Our Card Services team is passionate about serving our members by providing accurate, secure, and modern payment solutions. You will be an empowering mentor that will be:

Hourly, Full-Time 

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, occasional Saturdays

Pay Range:  

$15.60-$23.40

Skills and Experience

  • Education - High school diploma or equivalent, additional business training or experience in a technical field helpful.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, public relations and phone skills
  • Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to operate related computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and platforms for virtual meetings/trainings

Role Description and Essential Duties

  • Answer incoming member and team member phone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner. Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination and working relations with credit union personnel and vendors.
  • Responsible for supporting member and team members with debit and credit card services which include day-to-day functions and the effective and timely performance of assigned functions. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
    • Card production to include new, renewal, replacement, cancellation and expedited cards for both credit and/or debit.
    • Retrieve and work daily debit and credit reports.
    • Complete card maintenance for debit and credit programs.
    • Maintenance of compromised cards on system(s), to include core and card processor.
    • Carry out dispute resolution process by reviewing daily reports and managing monetary adjustments for card disputes filed by members due to errors or fraud.
    • Prepares and submits daily settlements and network balancing duties.
    • Responsible for accurately posting and settling of daily exceptions.
    • Prepares and sends notifications to members of any digital enrollments.
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with members, colleagues, and business contacts. Effectively communicates, coordinates, and resolves issues, discrepancies, and updates. Maintains member confidentiality by exercising sensitivity toward the nature of the issue associated with member and non-member information. Participates in product development of payments, attends or conducts training on card programs, and participates in projects as needed.
  • Follow the policies and procedures of Raiz FCU exercising competency, courtesy and concern for the development of the credit union.
  • Complies with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) rules and regulations, in addition to Customer Identification Program (CIP). Attends required annual BSA training and required compliance training.
  • Assist with all other duties as assigned or identified.
