Responsibilities:

  • Inspects and evaluates security officers for appearance, alertness, and proper performance.
  • Communicate company policies and procedures to all staff.
  • Responds immediately to open shifts.
  • Assist with complaints from clients.
  • Assist with investigations of accidents, thefts, and other unlawful activities.
  • Able to work extended hours.
  • Able to represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Must maintain satisfactory attendance and performance throughout employment as a Field Supervisor.
  • Inspect and replace equipment used by the security officers.
  • Must become knowledgeable of AGS and customers' expectations and ensure security officer compliance of such policies and procedures.
  • Must be able and willing to stand post at client locations on an as-needed basis due to emergencies or as extra support.

Requirements:

  • Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
  • State of Florida Class D Security License required
  • State of Florida Class G License required for Armed positions
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certification preferred
  • Active Shooter Certification preferred
  • O.C. Spray Certification preferred
  • ASP Baton Certification preferred
  • Handcuff Certification preferred
  • Taser Certification preferred
  • TWIC Card preferred
  • Must have open availability
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Ability to pass a physical screening
  • Minimum 3 years of security field supervisory experience
  • Prior law enforcement experience preferred
  • Prior military experience preferred
  • College degree preferred
  • Computer literate with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, as requested
  • Ability to deal professionally with internal and external customers
