Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients who need assistance with daily living activities. Your primary responsibility will be to offer personal care, companionship, and help with daily tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Help with mobility, including transfers and ambulation, and ensure a safe environment.
  • Prepare and serve meals, following any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organization.
  • Provide medication reminders and help with prescribed exercises or therapies.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
  • Monitor and report changes in client’s health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
  • Respect and maintain client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  • Adhere to all safety and health guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
