JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist client with daily living activities and IADL's such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, ROM exercises and body massages.

• Maintaining medical equipment, machines, and learning sterilization techniques.

• Learning and providing nursing delegated tasks such as g-tube feedings and cares, suprapubic cleaning and emptying, tracheostomy cleaning and cares not limited to suctioning tracheostomy.

• Full assist the individual with mobility challenges, ensuring their safety during transfers and movement.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for client by adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.

• Document care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate personnel.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.

• Uphold resident rights by treating all individuals with dignity and respect, fostering an inclusive atmosphere.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to caregiving best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience (2+ years) in caregiving or related fields such as hospice or assisted living.

• Knowledge of medical care principles and practices

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and remaining confidentiality

• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

• Ability to follow care plans accurately.

• Compassionate and genuine desire to help improve quality of life

• Pass background checks required by the state of Oregon.

• Dependability as this client is critical care.

RATE OF PAY:

• $21 per hour (experience dependent)

SCHEDULE: 30 hours

Wednesday 4:30- 10:30p Thursday- Saturday 4:00pm-11:00pm. Option for additional hours as well.

Saturday shift has a $3 differential on top of the $21 an hour.
