Job description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time, onsite position in Normal, Illinois for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Details

  • Position: School Psychologist
  • Location: Normal, IL 61761
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
  • School Year: 2026-2027
  • Assignment: One School Site
  • Grade Level: Middle School
  • Student Population: Approximately 500 Students
  • IEP Population: Approximately 128 Students
  • Caseload: Varies based on annual enrollment and student needs
  • Onsite Position Only

School Psychologist Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
  • Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Participate in eligibility determinations and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and special education staff.
  • Support the development and implementation of student interventions and behavior plans.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and social-emotional supports as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist License
  • Eligible to work in a K-12 school setting within Illinois
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and consultation skills
