About the Role:

You'll be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized behavior support plans, and supervising ABA therapy services for individuals with developmental and behavioral needs. This position offers plenty of room to grow, with the opportunity to increase your hours as you expand your caseload to full-time if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs): Identify client needs and develop data-driven, individualized behavior plans.
  • Behavior Plan Implementation: Oversee and guide the implementation of treatment plans, ensuring clients and caregivers receive clear and consistent instruction.
  • Supervision and Training: Provide supervision and training to BCaBAs, ABA therapists and caregivers, ensuring accurate execution of behavior plans in various settings (home, clinic, school, community).
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Track client progress through detailed data collection and analysis, making adjustments to intervention plans as necessary.
  • Client and Caregiver Collaboration: Work closely with families and caregivers to provide feedback, training, and support for long-term success.
  • Case Management: Ensure clients receive quality care by managing caseloads effectively, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with other professionals.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Must hold active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience: Strong experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with a focus on developing and implementing behavior plans for individuals with developmental and behavioral needs.
  • Education: Master's degree in ABA or a related field with completed coursework and supervised experience hours.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check as required for the role.
  • FL Medicaid provider number preferred (not required)

Service Areas:

This role serves clients in Polk County, primarily within Lakeland, Bartow, Winter Haven, and surrounding areas. Services may be provided in home, clinic, school, or community settings.
