Radiology Technologist Specialist

Position Summary

The Radiology Technologist Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of special technical, diagnostic and interventional radiologic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The Technologist also assumes responsibility for specified radiographic procedures, and/or may be assigned duties as an instructor. This position works at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, independently performing special procedure.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment
  • May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies
  • Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines
  • Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team

Requirements:

  • Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
  • X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health permitted but must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist with the State of Washington Department of Health within the (3) three months of hiring.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification
  • BLS Certification

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $40.96 - $67.69 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
