An oil rig roustabout is an entry-level worker on an oil rig responsible for general labor and maintenance tasks. Their duties often include cleaning the rig, assembling and repairing equipment, loading and unloading supplies, and assisting more experienced crew members. Roustabouts play a vital support role in keeping oil rig operations running smoothly and safely. The position can be physically demanding and typically requires working long hours in challenging environments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an oil rig roustabout, and why are they important?
