Job Description

JAVA Developers - Liferay.

Location: Naperville, IL.

Duration: 6-12 months.                                                                                                                      

Role Purpose:

Development in Liferay Portal - J2EE app development

The resource will be working on Liferay, Java, Spring, Struts, JSP, WebServices etc.,

Principle accountability:-

End-to-End handling of Development activities

Will be responsible gathering requirements, supporting solution design, developing detailed design and coding unit testing 

Will be responsible for development of Portal components

Experience in writing test cases and create test scripts starting with little or no documentation

Should have the ability to think analytically, offer ideas & recommendations as required 

Technical Competencies: 

Good hands on experience in LifeRay, Java Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JSP, J2EE, Java Web Services

Experience in implementing a portal using LifeRay. 

Exposure to good Database knowledge- MySQL

3-5 Years of web Portal App Development experience

Behavioral

Capability to work with highly customized and sensitive environments

Capability to prioritize and work on multiple issues and an ability to communicate with business and technical stakeholders

Soft Skills:

Should be a self-starter and a proactive person.

Good individual contributor as well as a team player with ability to build strong partner confidence
