Urgently Hiring!
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Advocate to join our team. As a Youth Advocate, you will play a vital role in empowering and supporting young people to reach their full potential. You will work closely with youth in various settings, such as home, schools, community centers, and juvenile justice facilities, to guide them through challenges and assist in their personal growth. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals and help them navigate the complexities of adolescence.
Status: Part Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Hourly, Part Time position serving youth and families throughout Ontario County are available.
  • Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school and home settings.
  • The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
  • All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
  • This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement

Hourly Rate: $18.00
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and families.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office a plus. Experience using electronic health record systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexible Hours - Non-Traditional hours; Evening and Weekends may be required.
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Skills a plus.
