Job Title Senior Full Stack Developer (React & Java) Role Summary Seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in ReactJS and Java (8 & 21) to build scalable, cloud‐native applications using microservices architecture and modern DevOps practices. This role involves working in the Banking domain, supporting multiple applications, and requiring the ability to handle multiple issues/requests concurrently in a fast‐paced environment. Key Responsibilities Develop full stack applications using ReactJS and Java (Spring Boot / Spring Cloud) Design and build REST APIs and microservices Implement event‐driven solutions using Kafka and JMS Work with JPA/Hibernate for data persistence Develop high‐performance, multi‐threaded applications Deploy and manage applications on Azure Apply TDD practices and maintain high code quality Build and support CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with multiple clients and cross‐functional teams Required Skills Frontend: ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML/CSS Backend: Java 8 & 21, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Data: JPA, Hibernate, SQL Messaging: Kafka, JMS Concurrency: Multi‐threading, performance tuning Cloud/DevOps: Azure deployments, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Jenkins) Testing: TDD, JUnit, Mockito Preferred Skills Microservices and distributed systems Docker/Kubernetes Monitoring tools (Dynatrace/App Insights) Experience working across multiple clients Salary Salary Range: $99,600 - $169,200 USD (base pay) Benefits Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well‐being benefits.
