Job description

Role:  Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer
 
Location : Indianapolis, IN Hybrid
 

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and customize web applications on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform to meet business requirements and enhance overall customer experience.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement eCommerce solutions, including storefront customization, product catalog management, and order management.
  3. Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing platforms, to support end-to-end eCommerce operations.
  4. Utilize DevOps principles and tools to automate and streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring continuous integration and delivery of SFCC applications.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SFCC web development, eCommerce functionality, and backend support, ensuring high availability and performance of the platform.
  6. Provide expert backend support for SFCC, including server-side development, data management, and integrations, to optimize platform stability and performance.
  7. Monitor and maintain the performance and scalability of SFCC backend components, optimizing database queries, caching strategies, and server configurations.
  8. Investigate and troubleshoot product support tickets related to backend functionality, addressing issues such as order processing, inventory management, and system integrations.
  9. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand their support needs, provide timely resolutions, and offer proactive recommendations for backend improvements.
  10. Contribute to the documentation of backend support processes, best practices, and knowledge base articles to facilitate efficient issue resolution and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) web development, including SiteGenesis, SFRA, and SFCC APIs.
  3. Strong understanding of eCommerce principles, including product management, shopping cart functionality, and order processing.
  4. Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks.
  5. Experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
