Postdoctoral Associate - Yokoyama Laboratory

 

The Laboratory of Dr. Kenichi Yokoyama, Professor in the Department of Biochemistry is seeking a highly motivated and creative Postdoctoral Associate to join our research team. The postdoctoral researcher will conduct independent and collaborative research on the biochemical, structural, and mechanistic characterization of enzymes involved in natural product biosynthesis and fungal cell wall synthesis.

Minimum Requirements: 

Min Degree Requirements:  Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in a relevant field (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.).

This position is 

  • Onsite. The work is performed on-site or at a designated assignment location.

Responsibilities include protein expression and purification, enzymatic and spectroscopic analyses, molecular biology, natural product discovery and characterization, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and mentoring junior laboratory members.
