Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

At Senior Helpers Costa Mesa, we believe compassionate caregivers are the heart of quality senior care. We are currently seeking experienced caregivers and Home Care Aides (HCA) who are dependable, compassionate, and dedicated to improving the lives of seniors in our community.

Areas We Serve
We are currently hiring caregivers to assist clients in:

• Costa Mesa
• Newport Beach
• Fountain Valley
• Irvine
• Santa Ana
• Orange

Caregiver Responsibilities
As a caregiver, you will provide meaningful support that helps seniors maintain independence and quality of life in the comfort of their homes. Daily responsibilities may include:

• Assisting clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene support
• Providing mobility and transfer assistance using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts preferred
• Supporting bedridden clients and providing incontinence care
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
• Engaging clients through conversation, companionship, walks, games, hobbies, and daily activities
• Monitoring and documenting clients' physical, emotional, and behavioral condition
• Communicating updates with the care team and family members when appropriate

Qualifications
We are looking for caregivers who have:

• Active HCA registration
• Current Negative Tuberculosis (TB)
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Experience with transfers and mobility assistance
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism
• Willingness to complete ongoing training, including Dementia, Alzheimer, and Parkison's care
