Job description

Pay Range:
$35.92 - $53.88
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Electrophysiology (EP) team. Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists play an essential role in supporting physicians during advanced cardiac procedures, including ablations, pacemaker implants, and structural heart procedures.
In this role, the Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist assists physicians by operating fluoroscopy and radiologic equipment, maintaining sterile technique, preparing and passing instruments and catheters, and monitoring patients throughout procedures to support safe, high-quality care.
We are hiring Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists at Levels I, II, and III. Placement within the appropriate level and compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and meeting position requirements.
Position Specifics:
• Department: Electrophysiology (EP)
• Core Function: Imaging
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Days - 10 hour shifts (7am-530pm), no call, no weekends and no holidays
• Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital
• Location: O'Fallon, IL
• Sign On: $15,000
• Compensation aligned with your experience
Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist II
$34.21 - $51.31/hour
Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist I
$32.58 - $48.87/hour

Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist III
Education
  • Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required.

Experience
  • 4 years of experience working in a cath lab or special procedures radiologic technologist role is required.
  • Cross-trained and able to rotate to perform at least four (4) functional skill sets as delegated in any diagnostic or interventional case
  • type performed.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification from ARRT OR certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist II
Education Qualifications
