Lavish Roots is a premier catering and hospitality company known for crafting exceptional dining experiences. We are seeking passionate and personable cooks to join our team.  If you're a people person with a love for food and hospitality, we'd love to have you on the team. You'll play a hands-on role from the first prep of the day all the way through service and back again — and you'll get your weekends back in the process.

What You'll Do

Breakfast & Lunch Execution
  • Set up hot and cold buffet stations before service begins each morning
  • Cook and prepare breakfast items including eggs, hot proteins, and warm sides
  • Maintain cold bar and buffet with fresh, attractively displayed items throughout service
  • Stock and replenish micro kitchen items (beverages, snacks, condiments, etc.) as needed
  • Monitor food levels and rotate product to maintain freshness and quality
  • Support lunch setup and service as needed before end of shift
  • Follow all approved recipes and presentation standards from the Lavish Roots commissary team
Guest Experience
  • Warmly greet and engage with guests throughout the morning
  • Accommodate requests with a friendly, can-do attitude
  • Provide confident answers about menu offerings and daily specials
  • Create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere that guests look forward to each morning
Station & Kitchen Maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness of all service areas, buffet stations, and the micro kitchen throughout and after service
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards without exception
  • Properly store and label all food products
  • Communicate supply needs and shortages proactively to the Lavish Roots team
Team & Logistics
  • Jump in to help teammates across stations and ensure seamless service flow
  • Load and unload catering equipment and product at the start and end of each shift
  • Drive the catering vehicle to and from the event site (valid WA driver's licence required)
  • Pack and stage items at end of shift to set the next day's team up for success
What We're Looking For
  • A genuine love of food, hospitality, and morning energy
  • Enthusiasm for crafting exceptional dining experiences — even before 7 AM
  • Comfort working independently on-site with support from a commissary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you're the face of the program daily
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset — you notice when something needs refilling before a guest does
  • A desire to grow within a supportive, advancement-oriented work environment
  • 1+ year of relevant experience in a restaurant, catering, hospitality, or food service environment
  • Culinary school degree or equivalent a plus!
  • Reliable, accountable, and solution-oriented
