Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Architect to join the firm to join the growing Urban, Campus & Cultural team. The Urban, Campus & Cultural team brings together Cooper Robertson's 45-year legacy in urban design, campus planning, and cultural design with Corgan's global platform. Recent projects include the University of Maryland Campus Plan, the Princeton University Art Museum, the Studio Museum in Harlem, and urban design plans for Hudson Yards and the Brooklyn waterfront. Work on diverse project types alongside a team of creative, highly motivated professionals who collaborate to deliver outstanding results. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about the team's wide range of work and motivated to take on increasing responsibility to expand their expertise.
**Corgan has an in-office work environment. This position is located in downtown NYC and worked onsite Mon - Fri. This is not a hybrid position, nor is it remote. **
Responsibilities
  • Assisting on full range of project types and phases of work
  • Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
  • Translating concepts and information into images and presentations
  • Participating in the process of exploring and completing usable construction document detailing solutions
  • Assisting with contract administration responsibilities
  • Coordinating with a variety of consultants

Qualifications
  • This role is an in-office position
  • Professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture or equivalent is required
  • Pursuing architectural registration
  • 1+ year(s) experience; a strong desire and interest to pursue diverse project types is preferred
  • Internship experience or some professional experience is required
  • Revit and Rhino proficiency are strongly preferred. Experience with other 3D software and GIS is a plus.
  • Exhibit strong organizational, writing, design, teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a diverse project team
  • Strengths in conceptual design, technical excellence, and communication skills are also desired
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities is essential

This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.

Base Salary Range: $72,000 - $92,000 annually - New York locations only
The estimate range represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in New York only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. In addition, a base salary is not inclusive of total compensation.
