Global Supply Planning (GSP) designs, plans, and activates upstream supply and inventory strategies that ensure reliability, and flexibility while enabling sustainable growth for Target. As the upstream integrator, GSP connects Planning, Inventory Management, Sourcing, and production to provide visibility, proactively manage supply risk, and enable downstream partners to optimize in-network inventory. A role in Global Supply Planning means ensuring that the supply, capacity, and production plans are established in conjunction with demand plans and manufacturing processes to meet business needs. The role will ensure that items are produced and available at the right time and in the right location. This position will require working from our Minneapolis HQ location 4 days a week. In office requirements are subject to change.
As a Global Supply Planning Manager, Essentials & Beauty, you will work with cross-functional teams to build supply plans for business partners who support Target Owned Brands. You will lead long-range strategic planning routines to ensure the business is manufacturing with the right business partner matrix & country of production footprint. You will drive regular production planning routines to ensure vendors have supply available to ship On Time & In Full. You will play a key strategic problem-solving role, partnering with both business partners and internal stakeholders including Inventory Management, Planning, Product Operations, and Close-To-Vendor Sourcing. You will drive continuous improvement of inputs & outputs to the supply planning process in service of sales growth, reliability, and flexibility. As a newer capability within Owned Brands, you will help develop supply planning processes, technology, and interaction models. You will have an opportunity to make a broad scope impact at a pyramid level and work with stakeholders in Minneapolis and overseas.

For local team members, this position will require a minimum of 4 days in our Minneapolis HQ location. In office requirements may evolve in accordance with internal policies.
About you:
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experiences

  • 3+ years relevant sourcing, planning, inventory management, and/or supply planning experience

  • Strong strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills. Demonstrates ability to analyze large sets of data and insights to form a perspective to effectively problem solve and drive decisions.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills demonstrating ability to work effectively with local and overseas partners.

  • Flexibility, resiliency and nimbleness; comfortable with ambiguity and working in "grey areas" that are constantly changing.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage cross-functional team, story tell through data, and keep partners informed.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage competing deliverables and collaborate with and influence a broad group of partners and stakeholders

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
