Job description

Description Driver Location: Jefferson, WI (covering Jefferson and surrounding areas) Schedule: Substitute. Pay: Starting at $17.00/hr. St. Coletta of Wisconsin has an excellent opportunity for a Substitute Driver in our Jefferson, WI programs! Our goal is to ensure the people we serve achieve their highest quality of life and personal growth! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Safely drives vehicle from homes of persons served or central loading area to destination, according to assigned schedule. • Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip. • Ensures that all passengers make use of their seatbelts and assures the safety of individuals being transported. • Safely operates cellular phone to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service. • Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers. • Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories. • Participates in organizational or departmental committees and meetings, as appropriate. • Adheres to all St. Coletta organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Requirements

Requirements:

  • Professional driving experience preferred, 18 years of age or older
  • A valid state-issued driver's license with a driving record that meets our requirements
  • A desire to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and other challenges in their personal growth
  • Successfully complete all required training within 60 days of hire
