Description
Driver Location: Jefferson, WI (covering Jefferson and surrounding areas) Schedule: Substitute.  Pay: Starting at $17.00/hr.  St. Coletta of Wisconsin has an excellent opportunity for a Substitute Driver in our Jefferson, WI programs! Our goal is to ensure the people we serve achieve their highest quality of life and personal growth!  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Safely drives vehicle from homes of persons served or central loading area to destination,  according to assigned schedule.• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.• Ensures that all passengers make use of their seatbelts and assures the safety of individuals being transported. • Safely operates cellular phone to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service. • Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers.• Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories. • Participates in organizational or departmental committees and meetings, as appropriate. • Adheres to all St. Coletta organizational and departmental policies and procedures. 
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Professional driving experience preferred, 18 years of age or older
  • A valid state-issued driver’s license with a driving record that meets our requirements
  • A desire to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and other challenges in their personal growth
  • Successfully complete all required training within 60 days of hireÂ
