Job description

  • Receipts and stocks in all parts orders
  • Inspects shipments and receipt for quantity and damage if applicable
  • Manages physical inventory by keeping stock in correct locations, sealable condition and free of safety hazards
  • Ensures all parts shelves are stocked using the space available in an efficient manner
  • Notifies the parts manager of any parts that are received damaged or missing
  • Maintains a special-order file and parts advisors when special order parts have arrived
  • Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry
  • Unloads truck each night and turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts
  • Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Maintain a valid GA Driver's license with a clean MVR
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Ability to coordinate multiple efforts at once
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers in a professional business manner
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs unassisted.

Working Environment & Physical Demands
Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to move vehicles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
