Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of UPS Package Handler. We are a family owned company who has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing all the products we sell. We are a perennial winner of the Chicago Tribune's Top Workplace Award. We are looking for highly motivated, flexible & friendly UPS PackageHandlers to join our team. If this is you, we want to hear from you!

In addition, must be comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment. Duties include:

  • Picking product for shipment
  • Lifting/Carrying product between 15-50lbs
  • Sort/Scan packages
  • Loading UPS/LTL freight trailers

Job Requirements:

  • Pass a physical & drug test
  • Positive, friendly attitude, and team oriented
  • Clamp Truck/Forklift/Cherry Picker experienceis a plus; onsite training available
  • Work weekends
