Telecare Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. This position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility and accessibility as you conduct virtual appointments. You will utilize state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client information securely and efficiently. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for your clients.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health status to identify their needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and culturally responsive techniques.
• Equipping clients with the necessary tools and coping strategies to manage their conditions, including workshops and psychoeducational resources.
• Maintaining regular follow-ups with patients to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Documenting all patient interactions accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders, among others. Our practice values cultural competence and aims to provide individualized care that respects the diverse backgrounds and needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of related clinical experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
• Proficiency in delivering culturally competent therapy and crisis intervention with a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience delivering group therapy sessions or specialized treatment programs, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also advantageous.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 140,000, supplemented by a sign-on bonus of $3,000 for new hires. Our benefits package includes:
