Suncore is looking for a reliable driver to transport, deliver, and retrieve paving construction equipment and materials. You'll operate vehicles safely, perform inspections, and maintain delivery documents. If you have a Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety, apply today and enjoy our industry-leading benefits!

Things You'll Do

  • Transport, deliver and retrieve Paving construction equipment (Backhoes, rollers, pavers, etc.)
  • Operate asphalt distributor and water trucks
  • Operate commercial or non-commercial vehicle in safe and efficient manner
  • Promote professionalism and excellent customer service attitude
  • Perform pre and post vehicle inspection.
  • Ensure all delivery documents are properly maintained during the workday and are available for inspection upon request by management or state traffic safety officers
  • Apply knowledge of driving and/or commercial driving skills in maneuvering at various speeds in difficult locations, heavy traffic, inclement weather, mountainous terrain or tight loading dock areas
  • Secure equipment by means of chaining, strapping and blocking under the strict accordance of established procedures
  • Maintain open communication with managers and dispatch for delivery schedules
  • Observe safety rules and regulations at customer job sites and facilities
  • Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment to manager
  • Promptly report any delays due to breakdowns, weather, traffic conditions or any other problem relating to timely pick-ups or delivery of equipment
  • Maintain flexibility in daily routine
  • Ensure proper paperwork and logs are maintained accurately

Requirements

  • Class A CDL.
  • Ability to obtain tanker endorsement
  • Clean driving record.
  • 1-year minimum experience driving with CDL.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Attention and commitment to safety.
