Xpress Trucking, Inc. is seeking dependable Driver Helper's to unload merchandise from containers in a safe and efficient manner at designated retail stores. Multiple shifts (day/night/7 days a week) and flexible hours available.

Requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Off load products at designated site.
  • Loads and unloads containers by hand or by use of a hand truck or dolly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Offload freight containers / box trucks at assigned customers locations
  • Effectively communicate with customers regarding freight needs
  • Stage freight as directed by customer
  • Obtain customers signatures on all POD's
  • Safely self-commute or carpool with drivers to customers location
  • Assist with Warehouse duties as requested - load / offload freight at HFS dry dock
  • Adhere to all HFS company policies
  • Attend monthly Warehouse meetings
  • Complete all training courses as assigned
  • Other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Driver Helper experience is plus
  • Warehousing experience is plus
  • Pass background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Uphold professional manners
  • Punctual, dependable, and resourceful
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • High level of composure and good stress management
  • Customer service

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to stand long periods of time
  • Able to lift to 50lbs
  • Constant lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and squatting
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Physical stamina

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Indoors at customers locations
  • In and out of shipping containers / box trucks
  • Outdoors at HFS dry dock
