Job description

Job Title: Dealership Driver and shop Helper
Department: Service
Location: Oliver Ford of Bennington
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Job Summary:
The Dealership Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of vehicles, customers, and dealership materials between various locations. This role supports the service, sales, and parts departments by ensuring efficient vehicle movement, customer pick-ups/drop-offs, and Help maintain The Shop with various tasks when during slow times .
Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport vehicles between dealership locations, auction sites, service centers, and customer residences.
  • Pick up and drop off customers as needed for service appointments.
  • Deliver parts or documents between locations or to vendors.
  • Ensure vehicles are handled with care and driven responsibly at all times.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage before and after transport and report any issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and work areas.
  • Assist with lot organization, vehicle staging, and inventory management as needed.
  • Perform cleaning duties in the shop.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and dealership policies.
  • Communicate effectively with staff regarding schedules and assignments.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles (preferred).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
