Job Summary

The Accounting & Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting daily accounting operations and office management. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience in a professional environment while contributing to critical business functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and update Excel spreadsheets related to financial and administrative tracking.
• Review, sort, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence to appropriate departments.
• Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, and maintaining office supplies.
• Help maintain financial records and data entry in accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Assist with basic accounts payable functions, including invoice tracking, data entry, and preparing documentation for processing.
• Support accounts receivable activities such as monitoring outstanding invoices, updating payment records, and assisting with follow-ups as needed.
• Gain exposure to financial processes, compliance, and business operations in a hands-on learning environment.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

Competencies Required:

• Strong time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debits/credits, AP/AR processes) preferred.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
