Job description

An Experienced Class A Driver plays a critical role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. This position primarily involves solo driving on regional and local delivery routes, with daily overnight travel commitments. The driver is responsible for maintaining vehicle safety and proper documentation, effectively communicating with dispatch and clients, and managing time efficiently to meet scheduled deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class A vehicle safely and efficiently on regional and local routes
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
  • Maintain accurate and timely driving logs and delivery documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status
  • Manage time to meet delivery schedules and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Class A truck driving
