Welcome to Long John Silver's, operated by the Dee Jay's Group of Restaurants. We are excited to have you join our team and grow your career with our company. The Cook of Long John Silvers is key in providing our guests craveable meals and is responsible for ensuring total guest satisfaction through positive engagement and interaction, consistent order accuracy, quality product presentation, and expected speed of service. Cooks are able to grow their career into Shift Supervisor roles and even management!


The successful Crew Member is able to:

  • Follows all operational standards for Food Safety
  • Completes all order taking processes in a friendly manner
  • Responds to customer concerns using BAM (Believe, Apologize, Make it Right)
  • Reports to work in a complete uniform and follows all grooming standards
  • Reports for work on time and as scheduled
  • Treats all team members and customers with courtesy and respect
  • Cashiers follow all cash handling policies
  • Cooks wear all safety gear and follow procedures to maintain a safe environment at all times
  • Completes all assigned tasks, including prep work, cleaning tasks, opening and closing duties
  • Stocks work stations as necessary, assists others with tasks as requested
  • Engages with customers and ensures a positive dining experience.
  • Communicates concerns to Restaurant Management Team
  • Responds to the Voice of the Customer results and focuses on areas of improvement
  • Maintains equipment, facility, and grounds as assigned
  • Cooks follow all cooking/serving food handling procedures
  • Follows all safety and security procedures

* Must be at least 16 years of age. No previous experience required.

* Must have reliable transportation.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and training materials.
