Position Summary
Are you a detail-driven creator with a passion for organization, customer service, and high-quality visual products? The University of New Mexico is seeking a dynamic Sign Order Fulfillment Coordinator to lead daily operations within the UNM Facilities Services Sign Shop-a team that shapes the look and feel of campus through signage, branding, and wayfinding solutions.
If you love blending creativity with coordination, guiding a team, and making customers feel supported from start to finish, this role is the perfect fit.
As the Sign Order Fulfillment Coordinator, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of sign orders-from customer consultation and order processing to production supervision and installation scheduling. You'll manage skilled staff, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and help uphold the high visual and branding standards that define the UNM campus.
This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to the university's daily operations and campus identity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates day-to-day operational activities to support timely customer service, efficient order processing, and consistent quality outcomes. Receives and prioritizes customer orders, coordinates scheduling, and releases orders of completed work in accordance with established policies and procedures.
2. Provides operational guidance regarding workflow processes and safe equipment use.
3. Investigates and resolves complex customer requests by coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors as needed.
4. Reviews order-related system invoices, reports, and production documentation to support accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
5. Supports the development and maintenance of operational goals and service expectations for the unit. Assists with the development and implementation of operational goals and process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
6. Tracks inventory levels for equipment, materials, and supplies to ensure availability for production needs.
7. Facilitates communication between customers, branding and marketing, facilities standards, and suppliers to support approvals, specifications, and production timelines.
8. Produces and fabricates signage using computer-based design tools, cutting machines, engraving equipment, and other related machinery in accordance with established standards.
9. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
