Now Hiring Warehouse Associates!
Payrate $17.00/ HR
Position Summary:
Warehouse Associates Perform Various warehouse functions including, stocking, inventory, packaging and picking merchandise for customer orders, and light cleaning maintenance.
Hours:
7am - 3:30pm or 8:30am - 5pm (must be flexible as you may be placed on either shift depending on business needs for the day)
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work primarily in the receiving department, loading and unloading merchandise from trailers and pallets; may be cross-trained in other warehouse departments.
โ€ข Pick, pack, and stock inventory accurately while maintaining organization and cleanliness throughout the warehouse.
โ€ข Operate warehouse equipment, including EPJs, RF scanners, reach trucks, walkie riders, and manual pallet jacks (must be comfortable working at heights).
โ€ข Support receiving operations, including inbound shipments, inventory handling, and organization.
โ€ข Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
โ€ข Perform general warehouse housekeeping and maintenance, including collecting cardboard and trash, operating a sit-down floor scrubber twice weekly, and assisting with minor facility projects.
โ€ข Restock breakroom supplies, including coffee, utensils, napkins, and bottled water.
โ€ข Assist with company events by setting up tables, chairs, food stations, and decorations.
โ€ข No cell phones allowed on the floor or workstations.
โ€ข Attendance runs on a 3 point system for your first 90 days.
โ€ข Complete other warehouse duties and special projects as assigned by the warehouse manager or supervisor.
What we are looking for in a Warehouse Associate:
Ability to work in a team environment and alone at times.
Team player and positive can do attitude.
Reliable transportation (not bus accessible)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable attendance
Able to work entire shift.
Good math skills, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Able to obtain forklift certification.
Reach operator experience is a plus but not required, Must know how to use EPJ's, Walkie Riders, Rf Scanner and Manual Pallet Jacks.
Knowledgeable in computer, scanners and software programs.
Must be able to work all shifts including overtime and weekends as needed when required.
