Job description

Description
We're currently building a team for upcoming warehouse opportunities in Jacksonville, FL. While start dates are not immediate, we are actively identifying qualified candidates as business needs increase. There is also potential for short-term 1-2 day project assignments as they arise.
Duties: loading and unloading shipments, moving and organizing products, sorting and scanning orders, and general warehouse labor. Candidates must have 6 months of recent warehouse experience and be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
Shift and Pay:
  • 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM or until work is complete ($16.50/hour)
  • Must be able to work overtime when needed.

Please note: Current volume is lower, and weekly hours may range between 30 and 35 hours. Flexibility is required as volume increases.

Job Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks manually.
  • Lift product, shrink wrap, and palletize pallets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, handle, and carry boxes up to 75 pounds
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to carry, stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, push, and pull
  • Stand on your feet for at least 10-12 hours, reach overhead, twist, turn, and squat throughout the shift.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace throughout your shift, effective communication skills and teamwork

  • Ability to lift parts weighing up to 70 lbs. without powered equipment assistance
  • Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions
  • Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic
  • Ability to coordinate the maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
  • Ability to utilize personal protective equipment, which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes
  • Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment
