Job description

WSL, Inc. provides logistics, warehousing, and distribution services for flooring products, installation supplies, and related materials. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting service center operations by handling orders, inventory, and warehouse activities. This position ensures products are received, stored, loaded accurately, and on time while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and committed to supporting both warehouse operations and customer needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming shipments.
  • Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery and customer pickup.
  • Load and unload trucks accurately and safely.
  • Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and product organization.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
  • Inspect flooring materials and supplies for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard environment.
  • Assist customers with loading materials and order pickups.
  • Support warehouse operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Prior delivery, warehouse, logistics, or flooring industry experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely handle flooring materials, carpet rolls, pallets, and installation supplies.
