Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Unlimited Biking Store Manager, where you will lead a vibrant retail environment dedicated to cycling enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. This energetic role involves overseeing daily store operations, managing a passionate team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. As the face of our brand, you will drive sales, optimize inventory management, and foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that promotes growth and success. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth shift operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to build a motivated and knowledgeable team
  • Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities
  • Oversee point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
  • Implement merchandising plans and marketing initiatives to promote products and increase store traffic
  • Conduct employee orientation sessions, ongoing training & development programs, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain organizational standards for cleanliness, safety, and store presentation while managing budgets and retail math calculations
  • Utilize strong communication skills to foster teamwork, resolve customer concerns promptly, and ensure effective store operations
  • Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, scheduling shifts, and inventory reports

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience in retail sales or store management with supervising responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (POS), purchasing procedures, and retail math principles
  • Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective communication abilities in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in training & development, team management, and employee supervision
  • Familiarity with retail marketing strategies, merchandising techniques, and pricing strategies
  • Ability to handle cash handling accurately while adhering to company policies on cashiering and financial controls
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and managing payroll processes
  • Knowledge of wireless sales or related product categories is a plus but not required
  • A passion for cycling or outdoor recreation is highly desirable
