This role will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle by developing new capabilities, enhancing existing applications, supporting testing and integration efforts, and implementing modern DevOps and CI/CD practices. What You'll Do * Analyze user and system requirements to develop software design and performance solutions * Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and system capabilities * Design and implement new software features or modify existing applications to improve functionality and performance * Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects * Integrate software into new or existing operating environments * Develop database queries and interfaces for existing or proposed databases and data repositories * Design and implement algorithms that meet system performance and functional requirements * Analyze workflows, system performance standards, and data usage to develop effective software solutions * Modify existing software to improve performance, support new hardware, and resolve operational issues * Collaborate with system engineers and development teams to implement technical solutions * Assist with software testing, validation, and integration activities * Produce, review, and maintain software and technical documentation * Recommend improvements to software development processes, documentation standards, and engineering best practices * Build applications using customer-specified programming languages and development frameworks * Support DevOps initiatives by implementing automated build, deployment, and infrastructure management solutions * Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to improve software quality and delivery efficiency What We're Looking For Required Qualifications * Active TS/SCI Clearance with a current Maryland Polygraph * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline * Minimum of 7 years of directly related professional experience; or 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree * Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications * Experience gathering and analyzing user and system requirements to develop software solutions * Experience developing and modifying software in Windows and/or UNIX/Linux environments * Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, Python * Experience designing database queries and integrating software with databases or data repositories * Experience developing algorithms and optimizing software performance * Experience with software debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning * Experience with modern DevOps technologies, including: Artifactory, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Packer * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as: Jenkins and Bamboo * Experience with software integration, automated testing, and deployment processes * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills * Ability to collaborate effectively within Agile or other software development environments Bonus Points If You: * Love solving difficult technical challenges * Enjoy collaborating and sharing knowledge * Like working where your voice actually matters * Appreciate a culture that celebrates wins and supports growth Interested?
