Onsite Job - Electrical Network & Digital Systems Support Engineer Level 3
Location: Everett, WA | Shift: First (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
About the Role
Join Indotronix as an Electrical Network & Digital Systems Support Engineer Level 3 and become a pivotal member of our engineering team in Everett, WA. This hands-on role supports the full lifecycle of aerospace networking and digital connectivity systems, offering you the chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements for aerospace applications.
- Design hardware, software, and interface specifications while coordinating closely with suppliers.
- Test, validate, and ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements for network and digital connectivity systems.
- Monitor supplier performance to guarantee system integration and compliance with established standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct technology research to assess advancements for application within company business needs.
- Actively contribute to airplane installation design and certification efforts for digital and network systems.
- Develop operational use cases and evaluation methods for system performance.
- Utilize Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) for architecture mapping and simulated testing environments.
- Develop and execute integrated test procedures, and define and configure lab setups for comprehensive testing.
- Create software scripts to support and automate testing procedures and analysis.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with Linux/UNIX operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of networks, hardware and software systems, and technical architecture.
- Experience in systems engineering, including system requirements, functional decomposition, integrated design, analysis, evaluation, and verification.
Preferred Skills
- Aerospace or avionics networking systems experience.
- FAA experience or certification.
- Hands-on background in both aerospace software and hardware domains.
