Position: Sr. Principal Systems Engineer – RF Signal and Sensor Modeling Engineer

Type: Onsite

Security Clearance: Secret (Interim required prior to start date, ability to obtain special program access after start). U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities
  • Champion novel solutions for advanced modeling techniques.
  • Develop new C++ models in an extensible and maintainable fashion.
  • Deploy EO or RF phenomenology and advanced physics principles in software implementation.
  • Enable customers’ success through adoption and utilization of modeling solutions.
  • Work efficiently inside an established software product across programming languages and build environments.
  • Research and develop novel EO or RF modeling solutions.
  • Coordinate with multiple development teams to prioritize and solve complex software and physics problems.
  • Mentor and share EO or RF expertise with the team.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets.
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux, Apple OS, or Windows command line.
  • Experience in electro-optics or radar processing, EO/IR/RF systems, energy transport, radar physics, signal processing and/or discrimination algorithms.
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
  • Experience with OpenGL, CUDA, or other GPU accelerated languages/architectures and scene generation/sensor modeling technologies.
  • Experience with electronic warfare modeling, developing signal processing algorithms for missile applications, signal & image processing, digital communications, or estimation theory, or AI/ML and training techniques.
  • Experience with real-time programming, software change management tools and processes, using and augmenting build systems (Make/CMake), and working with large production software environments.
  • Experience interfacing with adjacent engineering disciplines (Signal Processing, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering).
