Description CenCore is seeking a Site Security Manager (SSM) to oversee day-to-day security operations at a cleared, 24/7 data center construction site. This role helps ensure compliance with federal, state, local, customer, and contract-specific security requirements while maintaining a secure environment for personnel, property, and sensitive assets. The SSM provides direct supervision to unarmed security personnel, supports the Campus Security Manager, and serves as a key site leader for operational readiness, audits, inspections, post order compliance, training, documentation, and daily security performance. Key Responsibilities * Assist the Campus Security Manager with execution of site security services and act as the designated backup when required.
* Supervise, train, coach, and support unarmed security personnel assigned to the site.
* Ensure security personnel consistently follow post orders, approved procedures, customer requirements, and site-specific security protocols.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, training, development, and retention of security staff.
* Verify that security personnel maintain required licensing, training, and compliance with applicable federal, state, local, customer, and contract requirements.
* Maintain accountability, maintenance, and security of supplier-provided equipment, tools, expendable supplies, and assigned security resources.
* Ensure personnel are trained and competent in site security systems, access control processes, equipment, emergency procedures, and response protocols.
* Maintain accurate training records, incident logs, activity reports, post documentation, inspection records, and other required security documentation.
* Prepare for and support internal and third-party audits, including unannounced inspections, by enforcing approved security controls and procedures.
* Maintain standardized processes and audit-ready documentation to support compliance and operational readiness.
* Serve as Acting Campus Security Manager as needed to cover staffing gaps, operational needs, or designated backup responsibilities.
