Per Mar Security Services has been a family owned and operated, full-service security company since its inception in 1953. We provide security officer, electronic security, fire alarm and background and investigative services, serving customers in multiple states throughout the Midwest region.

Please Read: Per Mar Security Services is hiring for a security officer in Springfield, IL. This officer will be assigned to an in-store, observe and report only position at a Springfield area Walmart.

Hours: Wed.'s 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Thurs/Fri/Sat 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Sun/Mon/Tue off. Pay rate is $20 per hour, 35 hours per week.

Upon hire, you must be able to pass a background check, including a drug screen.

NOTE: Candidates must agree to travel to Decatur, IL for one half-day for our new hire orientation/training.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to the job site required. Current or former Illinois PERC card holder is highly desired!
