Our operation is based inChillicothe, ILand supportsCaterpillar's material flow needs. We manage and operate a warehouse facility responsible for pick and pack, sequencing, inventory management, and daily production support.

Shift Available:

1st Shift: Monday - Friday

Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and observations to identify and correct workplace hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, customer requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, near misses, and safety concerns, while documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and new hire safety orientations.
  • Track and maintain safety records, training documentation, and compliance reports.
  • Partner with operations leadership to address safety concerns and proactively reduce workplace risks.
  • Support return-to-work programs, injury case management, and workers' compensation processes.
  • Monitor facility safety performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote employee engagement in safety programs and encourage a proactive approach to workplace safety.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess the Following:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 1-5 years of safety, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or transportation experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.
  • Strong communication, training, and employee engagement skills.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
