UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care.   • This position will float within our Madison region primary care clinics;
  • Position will allow us to have coverage during vacations, illnesses, and leaves.

    • Fitchburg Clinic
    • McKee Clinic
    • Middleton Clinic
    • Monona Clinic
    • Stoughton Clinic
    • West Washington Clinic
  • Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
  • Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
  • 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult inpatients
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities
  • Full-Time position; 36 Patient contact hours weekly with 4 hours dedicated administrative time
  • No call coverage
  • Exercises independent judgements in the assessment, coordination, management and evaluation of certain medical processes and procedures, under the guidelines of the scope of practice and medical protocols.
  • Coordinating care of patients with other specialties
  • Specialty Skills: minor procedures (i.e.: skin excisions, joint injections, lacerations)

Qualifications
  • Prefer experienced advanced provider
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Board Certified
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Wisconsin
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States
