Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Varied shifts between 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | No nights, weekends, or holidays | On-call rotation required

As a Pharmacist, you’ll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive high-quality, cost-effective care.   • Review and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy, safety, and appropriateness before dispensing
  • Evaluate patient medication profiles to support optimal therapeutic outcomes
  • Provide medication counseling, drug information, and clinical consultation to patients and care teams
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to promote safe, effective medication use
  • Support daily pharmacy operations, including medication distribution and workflow coordination
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational pharmacy regulations
  • Maintain accurate medication and controlled substance records
  • Help uphold quality improvement initiatives that enhance pharmacy services and patient safety
  • Provide guidance and oversight to pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff as needed

Education:

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Pharmacy.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Obtain Iowa Pharmacist License within 90 days of Hire
