UnityPoint Health – Trinity is a regional integrated health care delivery system including four full-service hospitals in Rock Island and Moline, Illinois and Bettendorf and Muscatine, Iowa. The integrated services available at Trinity Muscatine offer a seamless continuum of care between physician clinics, hospital and home care services. The hospital campus is home to emergency, orthopedic services, physician clinics, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic care and treatment, home health and occupational medicine. In addition, it is home to Robert Young Center, the region’s only Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. The Center provides a full continuum of behavioral health services including inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time physicians work an average of 144 hours per month

  • Practice in a variety of locations: Bettendorf, IA - Muscatine, IA - Moline, IL - Rock Island, IL

  • Shift duration varies by location

  • Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care

  • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

Qualifications

  • MD or DO

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

  • Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the states of Iowa and Illinois

  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice

  • Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

We Offer

  • Shift-based compensation, with $190 per hour for day shifts and $225 per hour for night shifts. Additionally, there is a quarterly performance incentive and wRVU.

  • Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, internal equity, and other business needs.  Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on an individual’s qualifications.  The pay range does not include other forms of incentives which may include bonuses or differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
