• Conduct thorough evaluations, including reviewing patient histories and performing specific assessments to determine individual treatment plans.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, involving them in the goal-setting process to enhance engagement.
• Demonstrate proficiency in executing treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs and conditions, ensuring adjustments to care plans are made as necessary based on patient progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, consulting with other professionals when required to optimize patient outcomes and document any significant changes in the patient's condition.
• Manage accurate and timely documentation of care activities, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge planning, in compliance with evolving regulations in healthcare documentation.
• Exhibit strong time management skills, meeting productivity benchmarks while maintaining a flexible schedule conducive to team meetings and clinical needs.
• Participate in departmental meetings and community outreach activities aimed at marketing our services and improving patient access to care.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient care while adhering to governmental and accreditation requirements, contributing to the clinic's organizational goals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and mentorship opportunities, acting as a clinical instructor to physical therapy students.
• Promote a positive patient experience by being adaptable to the consumers' needs and helping eliminate barriers to access treatment.

At Unity Physical Therapy Clinic, our outpatient setting serves a broad range of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, seniors navigating age-related conditions, and individuals recovering from surgeries or chronic pain syndromes. Your role will include assessing and treating conditions with evidence-based practices to ensure optimal recovery and improved functionality.

• Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensing is required to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Possession of American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably in an outpatient rehabilitation facility, is desirable.
• Familiarity with modern electronic medical records (EMR) systems and willingness to adapt to new technologies in healthcare are beneficial.
