Job Responsibilities:

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide ongoing manufacturing engineering support to resolve production and process-related issues.
    • Lead process design initiatives to optimize product flow, material movement, and cell efficiency using continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Support new product and process launches, including equipment selection, design, installation, and modification.
    • Analyze product structures and manufacturing processes to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce costs.
    • Conduct and support root cause analysis to address manufacturing concerns and implement corrective actions.
    • Develop and maintain clear, accurate work instructions and technical documentation.
    • Monitor and control project scope, objectives, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful execution.
    • Follow JIT RASIC structure, ensuring accountability for delivery, execution, task completion, and consultation as required.
    • Maintain accurate records and backup documentation in accordance with company standards.
    • Respond professionally to employee concerns, suggestions, and operational feedback.
    • Comply with all company health, safety, and workplace policies and procedures.
    • Use, enforce, and ensure compliance with required PPE standards.
    • Follow all emergency procedures and actively participate in company safety programs.
    • Maintain housekeeping standards and proactively address hazards or non-compliance issues.
    • Demonstrate respectful and professional conduct with co-workers, supervisors, and leadership.
    • Attend required meetings and training sessions and contribute constructively.

    Required Qualifications

    • Ability to design and implement efficient manufacturing cell configurations.
    • Capability to analyze product structures and manufacturing processes to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce costs.
    • Adept with problem-solving methodologies.
    • Computer literate with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work any shift schedule according to business needs.
    • Ability to work overtime and travel with little notice.
    • Demonstrated strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external functional areas.
    • Thorough knowledge of materials, machine dynamics, and related engineering principles.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Proven ability to support manufacturing in resolving production and process issues.
    • Demonstrated capability in providing engineering support for new products and process implementation.
    • Background in selecting, designing, installing, and modifying equipment and fixtures.
    • Strong process design skills to determine optimal product flow.
    • Project management skills, including monitoring objectives, timelines, and budgets.
    • Familiarity with Just-In-Time (JIT) systems and RASIC methodology.
    • Ability to lead Design of Experiments (DOE) initiatives.
    • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFA/DFM) principles during product development.
    • Ability to develop and evaluate PFMEAs.
    • Skill in developing clear and effective manufacturing work instructions.
    • Prior leadership or supervisory exposure providing work directions to others.
